Meet current Team Members
Albert
2004 Cocker Spaniel
The team mascot, as well Emily’s shadow, Albert is never out of sight. He
happily helps in the barn every day, turning horses out and munching on any
dropped bits of grain. He loves to ride in the truck, and he always
travels to events!

Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Melissa
Fogelberg
Emily’s parents and her biggest
supporters, Paul and Melissa, have been instrumental to Emily’s
eventing success over the years. They tolerate the early
mornings, the late nights, and the incessant talk of horses.
Whenever possible, they come to watch Emily practice, and they
often travel to the big events to baby sit Albert and cheer
Emily on.

Ayla Turnquist
A wonderful friend, a long-time
supporter, and an experienced eventer herself, Ayla always shows
up to help at the important events. Some day soon she will be
there as a veterinarian too!

Emily Fogelberg and Emily Fogelberg
Eventing are excited to invite you to learn more about the
American Horse Trials Foundation, Inc. (AHTF). A Maryland-based
organization, the AHTF was founded in 1987 to help riders with
international competitive aspirations to garner tax deductible
financial support for their training and competition expenses.
Riders who are bona fide national or international level
competitors are eligible to apply for grants from the American
Horse Trials Foundation to offset the considerable expenses of
developing, maintaining, and competing event horses.
In the last two decades, the American
Horse Trials Foundation, Inc. has enhanced the ability of riders
with limited financial resources to succeed on the international
playing field. Many members of the United States Equestrian
Team at recent Olympic Games and World Championships have
benefited from its services. Since 1987, the AHTF has
distributed over $13 million directly to its Eligible Riders, a
selected group of accomplished riders. The American Horse
Trials Foundation, Inc. has played an important, direct role in
allowing riders to reach their goals and to train and compete at
the highest level.
The American Horse Trials Foundation,
Inc. has been granted tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3)
of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are deductible
to the maximum extent allowed by law, Federal ID 52-1495923.
Donations should be directed to the American Horse Trials
Foundation, Inc.
